Sunlit Parrots Aviary takes great pride in raising healthy, well-adjusted parrots and is committed to offering complete peace of mind when you welcome your new feathered companion home. Every bird in our aviary receives exceptional daily care and regular oversight from avian health professionals.
Each parrot undergoes a complete physical examination conducted by a licensed avian veterinarian prior to leaving our facility. Health screening includes checks for signs of illness, injury, or congenital issues, alongside laboratory testing for common avian diseases. Preventive treatments and any recommended vaccinations are administered in line with veterinary best practices and current animal health regulations.
A comprehensive health certificate, signed by a licensed avian veterinarian, accompanies every parrot at the time of sale and shipment. This certificate confirms the bird’s good health on the day of its examination and includes details of any tests, treatments, and vaccination records. All documentation is provided to you upon transfer of your new companion so you can share it with your local veterinarian and keep it for your records.
Every parrot is protected by a health guarantee for a specified period, typically ranging from seven to fourteen days after arrival at your home. During this time, scheduling a wellness check with a qualified avian veterinarian is strongly encouraged, not only to ensure a smooth adjustment but also to maintain the validity of the guarantee. If your veterinarian diagnoses a serious pre-existing or congenital health condition within the guarantee period, Sunlit Parrots Aviary will promptly review the findings and offer appropriate solutions, which may include veterinary support, a replacement parrot, or a refund in accordance with our policy.
Our health guarantee is based on mutual responsibility. Proper care, nutrition, housing, and regular attention must be provided for your parrot to ensure continued well-being. The guarantee does not extend to conditions arising from neglect, accidents, introduction to unsafe environments, or exposure to contagious diseases after leaving our facility.
